Ganeshi Bai & Sons

Ganeshi Bai & Sons is located at 50 Bhoiwara. This is an old part of the city and our shop reflects that. We’ve been in this building for generations. It’s not a modern place with glass windows or bright lights. It’s a traditional shop with thick walls and a lot of history. Bhoiwara is a narrow street where everyone knows everyone else. You can’t really drive a big car through here, so most people just walk. We like the pace of things in this neighborhood. It’s not as rushed as the newer parts of town. Our business is run by the family. We don’t have titles or a corporate structure. We just all pitch in and do what needs to be done. Most days are spent sitting at the front, greeting people we’ve known for years. We don’t use a lot of technology; we still do many things the old-fashioned way. It’s worked for us for a long time, so we don't see much reason to change. The shop is full of things we’ve collected over the years, and it can feel a bit crowded, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have a website or do any social media. If people want to find us, they just come down to 50 Bhoiwara. It’s a simple, honest way of doing business that has served our family well for a long time.
