Baba Exporter is tucked away at 256, Mulla Tallai. It’s a part of the city that feels very lived-in, with lots of families and small shops all around us. We have been working from this spot for quite some time now. The building is older, and the walls have a few cracks, but it holds everything we need. When we are busy with a big order, the whole place gets covered in packing tape and bubble wrap. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that because we are usually too busy getting things ready for export. It can get pretty loud when we are loading up the trucks, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We try to keep things simple. We have a couple of desks, a big table for packing, and a corner where we keep the tea things. Most of our day is spent checking weights and making sure the labels are stuck on straight. It is honest work and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the heat in Mulla Tallai is a bit much, so we take it slow in the afternoons and pick up the pace again once it cools down. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the stuff we send out gets to where it’s going in one piece. That’s enough for us. We just focus on the boxes and the shipping schedules.
