We are located over at 84 South Emperor Street. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a real headache during the middle of the day. Tamilnadu Agencies has been operating from this building for quite a while. We mostly act as a middleman for various products that people need around here. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s what we know how to do. The shop is usually filled with boxes of all sizes, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down. We have a small crew, just a few of us who handle the loading and the paperwork. We don't really have a big website or do any advertising. People usually find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them where we were. We talk to a lot of different people every day. Some are easy to deal with, and others are a bit more difficult, but that’s just part of being in business. We try to keep our records straight in these big ledger books, though we’ve started using a computer for some of it now. It’s a bit of a learning curve for some of the older guys. Rain or shine, we’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. South Emperor Street has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become part of the background after all this time. Nothing too fancy, just regular people working hard to get things done.
