Jvr International

We operate out of 5/206 Caldwell Colony, over on 2nd Street. It’s more of a quiet neighborhood than a big industrial park, which we prefer. Jvr International is a small operation. We handle various goods that need to go overseas or come in from other places. Our office is basically a room filled with boxes, a few computers, and a lot of shipping labels. It’s mostly just the family and a couple of helpers. We spend a lot of time checking regulations and making sure the crates are packed tight so nothing breaks. It’s not very exciting work, but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the docks have delays, and we have to spend the whole day on the phone trying to find out where a shipment is. We don't have a big sign outside or a polished showroom. Most of our business is done through old-fashioned networking and word of mouth. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we like working close to home. It saves on the commute. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure that when someone sends something through us, it actually gets to where it’s going. It’s a lot of logistics and coffee, but we’ve gotten pretty good at it over the years. That’s how we spend our weeks.
