Heavy Water Plant

We are based out of the Hwp Colony, which is where the Heavy Water Plant is located. It’s a bit of a self-contained world here. The colony was built specifically for the people working at the plant, so everything is pretty close-knit. You won’t find much in the way of high-street shops or flashy billboards. It’s all very functional and quiet. Our days are mostly about the routine of the plant and making sure the operations run as they should. The buildings are sturdy and have that specific look of government-built structures from a few decades back. There’s a lot of grey concrete and wide open spaces between the blocks. Most of us living and working here have known each other for years, so it feels more like a small village than a workplace. We don't have a marketing department or anyone trying to sell anything. It’s just an industrial site doing its job. The weather out here can get pretty intense, and the wind blows across the open ground quite a bit. Sometimes the roads inside the colony need some patching up, but we get around just fine. It’s not the kind of place many people visit unless they have a reason to be here. We just go about our business, keep the machinery ticking over, and enjoy the relative peace of the colony life after the shift ends. It is a steady way to live and work.
