Our place is spread out over plots 22 to 24 in the Antharasanahalli Industrial Area. It’s a big space because granite takes up a lot of room. We have big slabs of stone sitting out in the yard, just waiting to be processed or shipped out to a site. It’s a real working yard, not a museum. You’ll hear the machines running most of the time we are open. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best shoes because there’s always a bit of mud or stone dust on the ground. We’ve been out here for a long time, and we’ve seen the industrial area grow up around us. We have a crew that’s been with us for years, they know how to handle the heavy equipment and the stone. It’s a lot of physical labor every day. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing tricks to get people in. People find us because they need stone for their projects and word gets around. We show them what we have in stock, and that’s about it. The weather can make things tough sometimes, especially when it’s really hot out in the yard, but the work doesn’t stop for that. We just focus on getting the granite cut and ready. It’s a basic operation. No frills, just a lot of stone and a lot of hard work. We like it that way. It keeps us busy and we get the job done.
