Sri Anjanadri Granites

We've been at Plot No. 68A for a while now. It's in the 2nd Phase of the K.I.A.D.B. industrial area here in Antharasanahalli. If you've been around this part of town, you know it's mostly factories and sheds. Our yard is usually full of granite slabs leaned up against each other. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the industrial estate. Most days start early with the crane moving things around. There's always some noise from the machines or trucks backing in to load up. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. We spend most of our time out in the sun or under the tin roof checking the stone. People come by looking for specific colors or sizes for their houses. We just show them what we have on the lot at the moment. It’s hard work moving these heavy pieces, and our boots are always covered in white stone dust by lunchtime. We know the neighbors around here in the industrial area pretty well. It's just how things are in Antharasanahalli. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it's just one of us sitting at the small desk near the gate or walking through the rows of stone. We try to keep things organized, but in a granite yard, things tend to get messy. That's just part of the job. We've stayed in this same spot because it's convenient for the big trucks to get in and out.
