Saravanan Granites

I’ve been running things here at Saravanan Granites for a good while now. We are located right at 600 on 9th Cross, so most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming and going, mostly because granite is heavy and takes a lot of moving around. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Instead, we spend most of our time out with the slabs, checking the patterns and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. Sometimes the yard gets a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with stone every day. My father started with stones and I just kept it going because I liked the work. We get all sorts of people coming in, from neighbors fixing a kitchen to contractors doing bigger jobs. It’s not a complicated business. You pick a stone you like, we help you get it, and that’s about it. We try to keep things simple because life is busy enough as it is. If you walk down 9th Cross, you’ll probably see the slabs lined up against the wall. We don't do big ads or posters. Most people just hear about us from someone else who bought a counter here. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the granite gets where it needs to go without too much fuss or trouble.
