Sri Lakshmi Granites

We started Sri Lakshmi Granites several years back. Our yard is right on the Service Road in Sathyamangala, quite close to National Highway 4. If you drive past, you probably see the stacks of stone. Most days it’s just us moving heavy slabs around and getting dust on our clothes. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. We have a few machines for cutting and polishing, but it’s mostly physical work. Dealing with granite is heavy and slow. Sometimes the trucks get delayed on the highway and things get backed up, but we just deal with it as it comes. People from the nearby areas come by when they are building their houses. They walk around the stacks to see what we have in stock. It gets loud here with the saws running all day. We keep things pretty simple. There isn't a big team, just a couple of us handling the orders and making sure the pieces are cut right. The weather can be a problem since a lot of our work happens outside in the yard. When it rains, everything gets messy, but we keep the work going anyway. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most of the locals know where to find us. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the job done without too much fuss or complicated talk.
