Vikaasa World School

Vikaasa World School is situated on Natham Road in the Tirumalpuram area of Madurai. We have a decent-sized campus here that sits a bit back from the main road. The building is designed to let in a lot of air, which is good because Madurai can get very hot for most of the year. We have rows of classrooms and a library where we keep a good number of books for the students. The teachers here are mostly from around the city, and they’ve been with us for a while. We don't really go for the corporate look; the office is just a room with some desks and a lot of paperwork. Our focus is on the daily lessons and making sure the kids understand what they are reading. There is a playground where the students go when they aren't in class, and it can get pretty loud out there. We try to keep things organized, but with hundreds of kids, there’s always something going on. We don't use any of those fancy marketing phrases you see on billboards. We just open the gates in the morning, do the teaching, and head home in the evening. People in Tirumalpuram know us as a local school that’s been around for a bit. It’s a practical place, and we just try to do right by the families who send their children here every single day.
