R K Model School

We are located on School Road in the Gurunagar Colony area of Kr Palli. R K Model School has been around this neighborhood for a while. The road gets its name from us being here, which is kind of funny when you think about it. It’s a busy street in the mornings with parents dropping off their kids on scooters and cycles. The building is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. We’ve added bits and pieces to it over the years as we needed more space. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s just the principal and a few of us in the office making sure the bills get paid and the teachers have chalk. The classrooms are basic but they work. We have a small yard where the kids line up for assembly. Sometimes the neighbors’ cows wander onto the road, and we have to wait for them to move. It’s just part of life in Kr Palli. We know the shopkeepers on the corner and the families who have lived here for generations. We don't put on any airs or graces. It’s just a place for learning and growing up. We do our best to keep things orderly, even when the kids are being loud. It’s a good, honest way to make a living.
