Hebronschool

Hebronschool is situated at 116, Manjampoondi Villagep, right on the road that connects Thiruvannamalai and Thandrampet. We are in a place called Kilsirupakkam, which is quite rural. Because we are out in the countryside, we have a lot of space and fresh air, which is a nice change from the city schools. The building is a simple structure that we have added to over time. It doesn’t look like a corporate office; it looks like a place where people actually spend their lives. We have a few trees in the yard that provide some shade during the hot afternoons. The staff here are mostly local folks who understand the way of life in Thiruvannamalai. We don’t have a lot of modern equipment, but we make do with what we have. The classrooms have basic furniture and the walls are decorated with things the students have made. We don’t spend money on big advertisements. People usually find out about us through word of mouth. Our days start early when the sun comes up and end when the last bus leaves. We deal with everyday things like fixing broken benches or making sure there is enough water in the tanks. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of environment. We are just here to do our bit for the kids in this village and the surrounding areas.
