Govt Hr Sec School

This school is out in Rajanthangal, which is a bit of a drive from the main part of Rajapalayam in Tiruvannamalai. It is a government-run place, so things are pretty basic here. We have a few buildings where the higher secondary classes meet every day. The playground is mostly just open dirt, but the kids do not seem to mind much when they are playing football or just hanging out between classes. Most of the students come from the nearby villages and walk or bike here every morning. The teachers have their own routine, usually arriving by bus or scooter from the town. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially in the classrooms with high ceilings and old fans that sometimes make a lot of noise. We do not have a lot of extra stuff, just the books and the desks we need. It is a quiet spot for the most part, except for when the school bell rings and everyone rushes out at once. We have been here for quite some time now, and the building shows its age in some spots. There is a lot of paperwork to deal with because it is a government office too, in a way. We just try to make sure the students show up and do their work so they can pass their exams. It is a simple life for the staff and the kids in this part of the district.
