You can find us at No 77/1 on Gingee Road in Chettupattu, Tiruvannamalai - 606801. It is a well-known spot in this part of the district. The school building is actually quite large because we have students ranging from the primary level all the way up to higher secondary. Mornings are usually the most hectic time of the day when the buses pull in and everyone is trying to get to their respective rooms before the first bell. We have a large playground area, though it does get quite dusty when the weather stays dry for too long. Our teachers spend the majority of their time in the classrooms or sitting in the staff room grading papers. It isn't exactly a quiet place. There is always the sound of someone reciting a poem or the noise of students moving between classes. We have a small canteen where the kids can get a quick snack during their break. Some of the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we mostly focus on keeping the classrooms functional and safe for the students. We deal with all the usual school problems like lost notebooks and the occasional scraped knee from a fall on the playground. Many families from the nearby villages choose to send their children here. It is a long day for the staff, starting around eight in the morning. We follow the standard syllabus and try to stay on top of all the paperwork. It is just a regular school doing its daily work for the people in Chettupattu.
