Skp Vanitha Vidyalaya Matriculation School

The school is right on National Highway 66, on the road that leads to Thindivanam. We are in Somasipadi, which is near Tiruvannamalai. Being right next to the highway means there is always a lot of traffic passing by. You can hear the trucks and buses all day long. We have a boundary wall that helps a bit, but the sound is always there in the background. The school has been here for several years now, and we have a few buildings for the different grades. The classrooms are quite plain, with just the desks and the boards. We don't have anything too fancy or high-tech. Most of our staff lives in Somasipadi or comes in from Tiruvannamalai every day. The office is where we handle the admissions and all the fees. It is usually a busy place, especially at the start of the year. The kids come from the nearby villages, some walking and some taking the local buses. During the summer, it gets incredibly hot here, so the fans are always running at full speed. We have a small playground, but it's mostly just dirt and some trees. We don't have a lot of money for big decorations, so we just keep things clean and functional. It is a straightforward place to work. We just do our bit every day and make sure the kids have their lessons.
