You can find us at No.2/49-1 in Kalukali Thottam, which is in the Sangothipalayam area of Kaniyur. It’s a bit of a rural setting, surrounded by fields and a few other small industrial units. We handle fabric production here at Spr Sukra Fabric. The building is a simple structure that we’ve modified over the years to fit more machines. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze, but it works for us. The daily routine is pretty much the same every week. We arrive, check the schedule, and get the machines started. There is a lot of noise, but it’s the sound of work being done. Most of our workers are locals who have been with us for a long time. We don't have any big corporate rules or mission statements. We just try to get the work finished on time so we can go home to our families. Sometimes the raw material deliveries are late, which throws everything off, but we just adjust and keep going. The office is just a small room where we keep the books and take calls. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just do our work, make sure the fabric is right, and don't worry about much else.
