Ags Textiles

If you find yourself on P. N Road and turn into Palanisamy Nagar 4th Street you will eventually find Ags Textiles at No. 5/1323. This part of Poyampalayam is always buzzing with textile activity. We are right in the middle of it all. Our workspace is pretty straightforward with a lot of room for the materials we handle daily. We spend a lot of time on our feet checking the weave of the fabrics or talking to the drivers who come to pick up the bundles. It can get pretty noisy with all the traffic on the main road. Once you are inside the street, things quiet down a little bit. We have a small team of people who have been doing this for a long time. Using fancy words to describe what we do isn't our style. We just take the orders, find the right stock, and get it ready for delivery. The floors are usually covered in some lint or scraps. That is just part of the job. Most of us live nearby so the commute isn't too bad unless it rains and the streets get muddy. We have seen this area change a lot over the years. However, our routine stays mostly the same. We show up, do the work, and make sure everything is sorted out before we head home in the evening. There's usually a lot to do before the sun goes down and the day ends.
