Ac Textile Mills

Ac Textile Mills sits at 328/1a on Trichy Road in Palladam. It is a pretty industrial area. You can hear the hum of the mills from the road. Our place is no different. It is loud and it is hot. We have the big looms running for most of the day. The air is always full of that specific smell of cotton and machinery oil. I have worked here for a long time, and you just get used to it. Palladam is a hub for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by other people doing the same thing. We do not do anything special to stand out. We just produce the yarn or the fabric and move it on. The trucks come in the morning to load up. It is a lot of physical labor. We have a group of guys who have been with us since the start. We drink our tea together in the shade during the afternoon break. It is not a fancy corporate office. There is grease on the floor and the walls are stained, but it is where we work. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to keep the machines running without too many breakdowns. It is a tough business sometimes, but it is what we know how to do. We just take it one day at a time and work hard.
