Aaditya Textilein

Aaditya Textilein operates out of Vettri Illam, which is at No. 14/1 on Sengundhapuram 7th Street. We’re just off Mangalam Road, so it’s a fairly central spot for the textile trade around here. The building looks more like a house than a corporate office, which is why it has that Vettri Illam name on it. Inside, it’s all business though, with desks piled high with swatches and order forms. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and most of the folks on 7th street know us by now. The street is usually full of bikes and the occasional delivery van blocking the way. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just a small area where we sit down with suppliers to discuss the day's tasks. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the fabric quality than the decor. It gets pretty busy during the peak seasons, and sometimes we stay late just to make sure the shipments are ready for the morning. We don’t use any complicated systems, just a lot of lists and hard work to keep things moving. It’s a straightforward operation where everyone knows their job and gets on with it without needing much supervision or corporate talk.
