Aishwaryam Faashion Knitters

Aishwaryam Faashion Knitters is located at No. 43/20a in the A. V. P. Layout, specifically on 7th Street in Gandhi Nagar, Padmavathipuram. This is a big area for knitting, and you can hear the machines clicking away from almost every building on the street. Our place is no different. We have a few machines running most of the time, and the floor is usually covered in little bits of yarn and thread. It is a loud environment, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard over the noise. We do not have any fancy office space. Our "office" is just a small corner with a table and a couple of chairs where we talk to the people we work with. There are usually stacks of knitted panels waiting to be checked or sent off to the next stage. We have got big windows, but they are mostly covered in a bit of lint, so the light is a bit soft inside. It is hard, physical work, and we are usually on our feet for most of the day. We do not have a website or any big advertisements. People just know we are here on 7th Street. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the machines are oiled and the yarn is feeding through correctly. It is a practical life, and we take things one day at a time without much fuss.
