Aksara Tex

Down here at 8/229 C Vip Nagar, things are usually a bit quieter than in the main city. We are located in Amman Nagar North, near Pooluvapatti Post on P. N. Road. Aksara Tex is basically a warehouse and a small office area where we handle our daily textile business. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, and we often have to sweep out the dust that blows in from the open fields nearby. We have a few long tables for checking the fabric and some shelves that are usually overflowing with different materials. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t from around here, but the locals know the way. We start early, usually before the sun gets too high, to avoid the worst of the heat. There’s a small dog that hangs around the gate that we feed sometimes. Our equipment isn’t the newest model, but it gets the job done without much trouble. We don't have a fancy sign or a big reception area. Most of the time, we’re just in our work clothes, moving boxes or checking the weave of the cloth. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs for a bit of air. It’s a decent place to work, even if it’s a bit out of the way. We just focus on getting the orders ready and sent out to the trucks that come by in the afternoon.
