Agaram Knitters

You can find Agaram Knitters at 451 Veerapandi Post, situated on Palladam Road. We are a bit away from the main city, which is nice because there is a little more space, but Palladam Road is still a major route with lots of traffic. Our building is a large, open structure that holds all our knitting machines. It is not a quiet place to work. The machines make a constant rhythmic sound that we have all learned to ignore over time. We have yarn in every color you can imagine sitting in big bags or on racks. We don't have a professional cleaning crew, so there is usually a bit of lint on the floor and some cobwebs in the high corners of the ceiling. We are just a group of regular people who know how to run the equipment and handle the yarn. There is no corporate office with fancy chairs. We usually just sit on plastic stools or packing crates when we need a rest. We don't have any promotional materials or mission statements hanging up. If someone wants to know what we do, they can just look at the machines. We spend our days watching the needles move and making sure the fabric comes out right. It is a straightforward, honest way to spend the day, and we have been doing it this way at 451 Veerapandi Post for a long time.
