You can find us at No. 12 on Jothi Theatre Road. We are right in the middle of the bustle of Tirupur. Being so close to the cinema means there is always something going on outside our door. Saravana Weaves has been operating from this spot for a while now. We are just a small group of people who know our way around cloth. It’s not a corporate setup at all, more like a workshop. We have the usual noise of the city and the traffic all around us every day. Sometimes we even go catch a movie after we finish work if there's something good playing at the theatre. The work involves a lot of weaving and carefully checking the patterns for any mistakes. We don't have a polished front office or a receptionist. It's more of a hands-on environment. My old friend from school works right alongside me. We've seen Tirupur grow and change so much over the decades. The roads are much busier and more crowded than they used to be when we started out. We just stick to our little corner and do our thing. We don't have a big mission or any corporate goals. We just want to make sure the weaving is done properly and the people who buy from us get what they need. It's a lot of long hours, especially when we have a big deadline to meet. We just do our best every day and keep the machines running.
