Karpagham Tex

Karpagham Tex is located at No. 8-604 Angeripalayam Road. It is pretty close to a lot of other textile places, so the whole road has a certain feel to it. Our building is a simple one, mostly just a large room with a few partitions for the office stuff. We have these old metal shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and they are always packed tight with rolls of cloth. Sometimes it takes two of us just to get a heavy roll down from the top. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, so we have these extra lamps clipped onto the desks so we can see what we are doing when the sun goes down. The road outside, Angeripalayam, is always full of activity, and you can hear the bikes zooming past all day long. We have a small sink in the back for washing up, and a little area where we keep the broom and cleaning supplies. Most days are pretty much the same—we come in, check the orders, and get to work. It’s a bit cramped when we have a big shipment coming in or going out, but we managed to figure out how to navigate around the piles. We don't really have any fancy marketing people or anything, just a few of us who know the business and how to handle the materials we work with every day. The building stays quite cool in the mornings which is nice.
