You can find Amirtha Fabs Private Limited over on 9th Street in R.V.E. Nagar. Our building is door number 127/A and it is right in the heart of the Tiruppur garment area. It is always noisy around here with all the trucks moving in and out of the narrow streets. Inside our unit, it stays pretty busy from morning until late evening. We have various piles of fabric sitting around and the smell of fresh cotton is something you get used to quickly. The workers here are mostly local folks who know their way around a sewing machine or a cutting table. We don't really have a big reception area, so if you come by, you'll probably walk right into where the work is happening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how things go around here sometimes. We keep a small kettle in the corner for tea breaks, which is when everyone gets a chance to sit down for ten minutes. The desks are usually piled with order sheets and samples that need looking at. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or marketing stuff, we just focus on getting the fabric ready and sent out to whoever needs it. It is a simple setup but it works for us and keeps us occupied throughout the week. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
