Tharani Restaurant

We’re located at No 29 A on Madurai Road, right near the Tirunelveli Railway Station. It’s a busy spot, especially being opposite the old bus stand and near the junction. Tharani Restaurant has been here for a good while now. We get a lot of travelers coming off the trains or waiting for their next bus. The area is always loud and full of people, but we like being in the middle of it. We don't have a fancy website or a big advertising budget. It’s just a small shop where we cook every day. The furniture is a bit older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. Our staff is mostly locals who know the regulars by name. We don't try to be anything high-end. It’s just a place to get a hot meal when you’re on the move. Sometimes we run out of certain items during the lunch rush, and it gets a bit crowded at the tables, but people don't seem to mind much. We spend our time in the kitchen or keeping the place tidy between rushes. Being near the station means we see people from all over, which makes the days go by faster. It’s just a normal restaurant doing its best to stay busy on Madurai Road. We’re right there if you’re passing through and need to sit down for a bit.
