Aachees Restaurant

If you’re in Tirunelveli and you find yourself on Trivandrum Road, you might see us at No 10 A / 5. We’re Aachees Restaurant, and we’re located right in Vannarpettai, directly opposite the RMKV store. It’s a very busy intersection in 627003, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been here serving food to the local crowd for a good bit of time. We don't have any fancy waiters in suits or anything like that. It's just a regular local restaurant where you can get a meal that tastes like it was made in a normal kitchen. We spend a lot of our time prepping vegetables and getting the rice ready for the lunch rush, which can get pretty intense when the shops nearby take their breaks. Sometimes the fans don’t blow quite hard enough when it’s hot outside, but we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town, we just want to be the place where you can get a good plate of food without any trouble. Our staff is mostly local people from around Vannarpettai, and they work hard to keep the tables clean and the food coming out hot. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
