Mango Restaurants

Up here in Courtallam, we have Mango Restaurants on Five Falls Road. It is a busy area because of the waterfalls nearby. People come to Tenkasi for the water and the weather, and we are right on the way. Our place is quite simple. We have a lot of space because we get big groups and families traveling together. When the season is on, it gets very hectic. People are often tired or even a bit damp from the falls when they walk in. We don't mind that. We have been here for a bit and we know what people looking for a meal want. It is mostly local dishes that we serve. The kitchen can get quite hot, especially in the afternoons, but the breeze from the hills helps sometimes. We don't have fancy lights or expensive paintings on the walls. It is a place where you can just sit down and eat without worrying about how you look. Tenkasi is a nice place to live and work. We have a few staff members who have been here since we opened. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just provide a place to sit and have a meal before you go back to seeing the sights. The road outside can get narrow with all the tourist buses, so it’s always lively around here.
