Thaif Restaurants

Our little place, Thaif Restaurants, is located right on North Main Road in Eruvadi. We are at number 15a, which is easy enough to find if you are driving through this part of Tirunelveli. Life here in 627103 moves a bit slower than the big cities, and we like it that way. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few streets away, though we do get some people passing through on the main road. The kitchen starts up early in the morning because there is always a lot of chopping and cleaning to do before the first person walks in. It’s a simple setup with basic tables and chairs, nothing like those fancy places you see in the bigger towns. We just serve food and try to keep the place tidy for everyone. Sometimes the fans don't work as well as they should when it's really hot outside, but we manage to get by. My family helps out a lot with the daily chores, from washing dishes to taking orders. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. It's a lot of hard work standing on your feet all day, but seeing the same neighbors come in every afternoon makes it worth it. We’ve been part of the Eruvadi community for some time now and plan to stay right here on North Main Road for many more years.
