S V Blocks

S V Blocks is located at 203, Service Road. You can find us right there in Thalaiyuthu if you’re looking. The yard is usually quite a mess with all the cement dust and stacks of finished blocks. We start work pretty early in the morning because the sun gets so hot later on. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The service road outside is always busy with trucks and cars going past. Sometimes the noise is a bit much but we just get used to it after a while. Most of the people who come by are just locals or builders who need a few things for a project. I spend most of my day covered in that grey dust from the blocks. We don’t have a fancy office or a big sign. It’s just the space where we work. Thalaiyuthu is a good place to be, even if it gets a bit dusty. We’ve been at this 203 address for a while now. Some days are busier than others and we just try to keep up with the orders. Stacking the blocks takes a lot of time and you have to be careful so they don't chip. It’s not the easiest job but it’s what we do. The rain can be a problem sometimes when it makes the yard all muddy. We just deal with it and keep going when things dry out. It is just a regular life of labor.
