Abi Foods

Abi Foods is located at No:345 in Rajeev Nagar. We are right on the Madurai Road in Manapparai. If you’re driving down that road, you can’t really miss the turn-off for our area. It’s a good spot because a lot of transport moves through here. We deal with food processing, so our day starts pretty early before the sun gets too hot. The facility is simple. We have a few machines and a big space for sorting and packing. It’s a lot of physical work. We have people from around Rajeev Nagar working with us, so it feels like a community effort. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just rely on the food we make and people talking about it. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s usually covered in invoices. The Madurai Road is always loud with trucks, but inside we just focus on the work. We’ve been here in Manapparai for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. The heat can be a lot in the middle of the day, but we just keep the doors open for whatever breeze comes through. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make food and send it out to whoever needs it. It’s basic, honest work. Abi Foods is just a local business trying to do right by the people who buy our products.
