Chennai Treat

Chennai Treat is located right over at No 543 in the 18th Block of P K Colony. We are situated in the Puliyanthopu area, which most people know is quite close to the Perambur Barracks. If you are trying to find us, the Patalam Market is the best landmark to look for because it is always busy and everyone knows it. Our day usually starts pretty early because being near a market means there is a lot of noise and movement from the crack of dawn. It is not a very fancy place, just a simple spot where we handle all our daily work and try to keep things moving. The streets around Perambur Barracks can get really crowded with traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home. We spend a lot of our time just managing the inventory and making sure everything in the kitchen is ready. The walls could probably use a bit of fresh paint and the chairs are just regular ones we’ve had for a while. It feels like a real neighborhood spot because we see the same faces walking by every day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that, it is just us working here. Most people who come in are just locals or people who happen to be visiting the market and need a place to stop. It is a bit loud sometimes with the city sounds, but we are used to it by now.
