You can find us at 807/1 Keelakadu in Thamarakottai North. It is out in the Thanjavur district, which everyone knows for its fields. We are a group of farmers from this local area who put this collective together a while back. Thanjavur is famous for its agriculture, but it is not always easy making a decent living from it these days. We decided that if we all worked together under one company name, it would be better for the whole community. Our office is just a simple building where we handle the business side of the farm work. We are not city people at all; we spend almost all of our time in the fields around Thamarakottai. The collective helps us manage the sales and get slightly better prices for what we grow. We do not have a lot of complicated rules or corporate talk. We just meet up, discuss what needs to be done for the week, and then go out and do it. Some days are much harder than others, especially when the rains do not come when we expect them to. But having the company helps us stay a bit more stable. We focus on the practical side of things like seeds and water. There is almost always someone at the Keelakadu address if you need to talk. We keep things honest and very direct because that is how we like to work.
