Hortking Private Limited is located at 140, Palayapatti North in the Kathadipatti Village area. Being in Budalur Taluk means we are right in the heart of Thanjavur, where everyone knows a bit about farming. Our place is not easy to find if you are not from around here, but the locals can point you toward the village easily enough. We are just a small team trying to figure out the best way to handle our crops. There is no corporate ladder here, just a few of us making decisions over lunch. Thanjavur has such a long history of agriculture, and we are just trying to find our own little corner in it. The building is simple and we keep our tools there. We spend a lot of time talking to other farmers in Kathadipatti about what is working and what isn't. It is a slow process, and you cannot rush the plants anyway. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything like that. If you want to know what we do, you just have to look at the fields. Some days the sun is too hot to stay outside for long, so we retreat to the shade of the porch. It is a basic life, but it is what we know. We are just trying to keep the business going and maybe help the village a little bit as we grow. It is mostly about showing up and doing the work.
