Karanthapaal Farms (Opc) Private Limited is located at 642, Anna Street in the E.B. Colony. This is over on N.K. Road in Thanjavur. It’s a one-person company on paper, but there’s usually a few of us around helping out. Thanjavur is famous for its rice and its history, and being on Anna Street puts us right in a spot where we can see the town moving. The office is part of the colony, so it feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We spend our hours tracking what’s happening on the farms and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some old chairs, a sturdy table, and a lot of maps of the local area. People drop by from N.K. Road to chat about the harvest or just to see how things are going. We don’t use big words or try to act like we’re something we aren’t. We are just local people in Thanjavur 613006 working with the land. The sun gets hot in E.B. Colony, and we usually have the fans going full blast while we look over the ledgers. It’s a simple life, focused on the crops and the seasons. We take things as they come and try to handle the business part of farming as best as we can from this little office. It keeps us busy and keeps us connected to the soil around us.
