V-Tex Foods

V-Tex Foods is based in Ramesh Bhavan on Road No. 16 in Kisan Nagar 3, which is part of the Wagle Estate. It is an industrial kind of area, so there are a lot of workshops and other small businesses all around us. Ramesh Bhavan is a plain building, and we are tucked away on the third road of Kisan Nagar. Most of our days are spent inside, handling the food items and making sure everything is sorted correctly. It is not a quiet place, as there are always delivery vans and motorbikes buzzing around the estate. We start our work early to beat the midday heat, which can get quite intense in this part of town. The concrete buildings hold the heat for a long time. We have our routine down pretty well by now, and everyone knows their job. We don't use any big fancy machines for everything, a lot of it is just manual labor and keeping an eye on the details. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn't need electricity. The people working in the nearby units are friendly enough, and we often see them during the lunch break. By the end of the shift, the area starts to empty out as people head home to different parts of the city. We lock up Ramesh Bhavan and head out ourselves, ready to do it again tomorrow.
