Our place is called Villa Capital and it’s tucked inside the Sadhana Compound on S V Road in Jogeshwari West. S V Road is always a mess of traffic, so getting here is the hardest part of the day. Once you get inside the compound, it’s a bit quieter. We have a decent space here where we manage everything. It’s not a high-rise office. It feels more like a house turned into a workspace, which gives it a bit of a different vibe. We have people coming in and out constantly. There is always someone looking for a signature or checking on a shipment. We don't really have a dress code; people just wear what’s comfortable for the Mumbai heat. We’ve got a lot of history in this compound. You can see it in the walls and the old gates. We don't go for the sleek, modern look. We prefer having everything within reach and knowing where the files are stored. Lunchtimes are usually spent talking about the local news or the latest cricket match. We aren't into that whole corporate networking thing. We just focus on the food business and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. It’s a busy, cramped, but very real place to work. We just do our jobs and try not to get stuck in the evening traffic for too long. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
