Foodesign Associate

We are based in Bharat Colony on S.P Road, which is in the Katemanivali area of Kalyan East. Foodesign Associate is not some big, fancy design agency with a lot of staff. It is just a small group of us working out of this quiet residential colony. We have been here for a while now and we really like the atmosphere of Kalyan. Most of our daily work involves planning and designing various things for the food industry, which means we spend a lot of time at our desks with pencils and stacks of notes. The office is basically just a converted room that has a couple of large tables and plenty of paper lying around. It is not always perfectly tidy, but we have our own way of organizing things and we know where everything is kept. The neighbors are mostly families, so the area stays pretty peaceful during the day, except for when the vegetable sellers come by with their carts and shout out their prices. We do not have a big, bright sign outside, just a small one so that people can find the right door. We usually drink a lot of tea throughout the day while we work on our designs. We do not believe in doing a lot of fancy presentations with slides. We just show people our drawings and talk about how they will work in a real kitchen. It is a very practical and honest way of doing business. We are not interested in corporate talk or sounding professional. We just want to make sure the designs are useful for the people who will use them.
