Gaura Fabricators

We are out in Murbad, right in the MIDC area at L-4/2. It’s an industrial spot so there’s always noise from the machines next door. Our place isn't different. We spend the day cutting metal and welding things together. The floor is usually covered in scraps and dust. It’s hard work and your hands stay dirty no matter how much you wash them. We’ve been in this shed for a while now. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard in July but we just move the stuff out of the way. It’s just a regular fabrication shop. We have the big cutters and the welding sets. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. Murbad gets quite hot in the summer. We keep the big doors open to get a breeze. Most of the people around here are doing the same kind of work. We know the guys at the other units. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk with some old files and a computer that takes forever to start up. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the grinders before you see us. We just focus on the jobs we have for the day. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking everything before we finish up. It is a plain, working environment and we are used to the grit.
