Chavan Gruh Udyog

Chavan Gruh Udyog operates out of A-401 in Shree Siddhivinayak Towers. We are located in Manda East, over in Titwala. It is more of a home-style setup than a big factory. You can usually tell we’re working by the smells coming from the kitchen area. We started this because we wanted to make something ourselves. Living and working in the same building can be a bit much sometimes, but it saves us the commute. Most of our days are spent measuring things out, packing, and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. Titwala is a bit quieter than the main city, which we like. The apartment gets pretty crowded when we have a lot of orders to fill. Boxes get stacked in the hallway and the dining table becomes a workspace. It’s a family thing, mostly. My cousins or brothers might be around helping out when things get busy. We don't have a storefront with glass windows. It’s just a flat where we do our work and try to make a living. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to carry stuff down the stairs, which isn’t fun. But we just get on with it. It’s a simple life, and we’re happy to be doing something that keeps us busy every day. We hope to stay here for a long time. There is always someone in the kitchen or moving boxes around, which keeps the place feeling alive.
