We are located at Bhalwant Niwas on Dr Moose Road in Thane West. It’s a great spot because we are so close to Talao Pali and the Gadkari Rangayatan Hall. If you’ve ever gone for an evening walk by the lake, you’ve probably seen us. The 400601 area is usually crowded with families and people coming out of the theater after a play. Aparna Veg is a simple place where we serve vegetarian food without any unnecessary frills. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing department writing our menus. It’s just us in the kitchen and at the counters. The building we are in has been around for a long time, and it has a bit of that old Thane character. On the weekends, the street gets incredibly busy, and we have to work double-time to keep up with the people coming in after their stroll by Talao Pali. We don't have fancy lighting or expensive decor. Our tables are simple, and our focus is just on the food that goes out to the people sitting there. Sometimes we run out of chairs when a big group comes in from Gadkari Rangayatan, but people don't seem to mind waiting a bit on the sidewalk. It’s just a local veg spot where you can get a meal and watch the world go by. We’ve been here for years, and we know most of the people who walk past.
