Supreme Foodservice Gmbh is run out of a flat in the Sapphire Co-Op Housing Society in Jogeshwari West. It’s flat number 604, so we are up a few floors away from the noise of S.V. Road, though you can still hear the Mumbai traffic if you open the balcony door. Being near Omar Sons makes us easy to find for anyone who knows this part of the city. Working out of a residential building is a bit different than a big glass tower, but it works for us. We have our computers set up and the kitchen area is always stocked with snacks because we spend a lot of hours here. The lift in the building can be a bit slow during the morning rush when everyone is heading out, so we usually try to time our arrivals. Jogeshwari is a busy area, and there is always something happening on the street below. We deal with a lot of coordination and paperwork from this office, keeping track of everything that needs to move from one place to another. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; we don't wear suits or anything like that. It is mostly just us sitting around the tables, talking on the phone, and making sure the schedules are being met. It’s a practical way to run things in a city where space is hard to find. We like being in a place that feels like a home because it makes the long days feel a bit shorter.
