Sm Foods

Sm Foods is located right in the middle of the Wagle Industrial Estate, specifically over at Plot No. B-7 on Road No. 8. If you know this area, you know it’s always buzzing with trucks and people moving around. It gets pretty loud during the middle of the day with all the nearby factories running. Our place is tucked in among them. We spend most of our time inside, focused on what needs to be prepped and sent out. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. The kitchen area is where most of the action happens. We’ve got a couple of big tables and the equipment we need to get through the daily orders. It gets warm in there, especially in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People from the neighboring plots sometimes drop in to say hello or see what’s cooking. We’ve been at this for a while now, and Road No. 8 feels like our own little world. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We usually have crates stacked up near the entrance ready for the next delivery. It is a lot of manual work and standing on our feet, but that is just how the food business goes. We try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit chaotic when three things are happening at once.
