Wholesale Textile

Our place, Wholesale Textile, is at No. 410 in Anupam Plaza. We are located on the road that goes from Puna to the Bombay Market, right in the Puna Gam area. Being near Archana School is a good way for people to find us because everyone knows where that is. We are up on the fourth floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually packed with cars and rickshaws. The plaza is full of other businesses too, so there is always a lot of coming and going in the hallways and the lift. Inside our unit, it is mostly just stacks of textiles and a desk where we handle the paperwork. We spend our days talking to traders and making sure our inventory matches what we have on the shelves. It is a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when we have to move heavy bundles of cloth in the heat. Surat is famous for this kind of work, and we are just one small part of that big machine. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or anything like that. People know us because we have been here and we just do our job. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of environment where we focus on getting the textiles out to the people who need them. When the day is over, we lock up and head home through the Puna Gam traffic.
