Amritsari Zaika

You can find us at Amritsari Zaika in the Bhagwati Ashish Complex. We are right on Rani Sati Mata Road, just across from the Maheshwari Store in the Citylight area of Surat. It’s a good little spot in a busy part of town. We aren't a massive restaurant, just a humble shop at G/1. We spend most of our time in the back getting things ready for the day. Surat has a lot of food options, so we just try to offer something consistent. The interior is simple with a few tables and chairs. We don't have a designer look or anything like that. It’s just a place where we cook and people eat. Sometimes the parking out front on Citylight Road is a bit of a mess, but folks still find their way to us. We handle the cooking ourselves and keep an eye on the counter. We use whatever vegetables are fresh at the market that morning. If something doesn't look good at the market, we don't buy it, so the menu changes a little bit sometimes. We don't have a big marketing team or a social media person. Usually, someone just hears about us from their neighbor and stops by. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we cook, we clean, and we go home. It’s what we know how to do best and we just keep at it.
