Aamantran Restaurant

We are based in Parikh Chambers on Varachha Main Road in Surat. The area is called Mini Bazar and it definitely lives up to the name because it is always packed with people shopping. Being on the main road means we see everything that happens in this part of the city. Our restaurant is not very big, but we make use of the space we have. Most of the people who work here live nearby. We start our day early to get the kitchen prepped before the lunch crowd comes in from the market. Surat is a fast city, and Varachha Road is one of the busiest parts. We have a lot of regular customers who work in the local shops. They usually want their food fast so they can get back to work. We do not have fancy menus with photos, just a list of what we have that day. The building, Parikh Chambers, has been here for a long time. It has got that old-style look. Sometimes the plumbing is a bit temperamental, but we manage. We are not trying to be anything other than a place to eat on a busy street.
