Welco Fabrics

Welco Fabrics is located right here in the Surat Textile Market at T-1116. If you know the Ring Road area, you already know how busy it gets every single morning with all the trucks and people moving about. We spend most of our time moving rolls of cloth around and trying to keep the shelves organized, though it usually ends up looking a bit messy by noon. There are so many shops around us that it sometimes feels like a maze, but we have been in this spot for a while now. Most days it is just us checking the fabric quality and making sure the orders are packed properly for whoever is coming to pick them up. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workspace with a lot of material stacked up high. Sometimes the fans don't keep it cool enough when the sun hits the building, but we get the work done anyway. Customers come in and out from all over, usually looking for something specific for their own projects. We just try to keep things simple. Dealing with suppliers and transport guys takes up a good chunk of the afternoon. It is not glamorous work, but it is what we do. The market has its own rhythm, with tea stalls nearby and the sound of trolleys clicking on the floor. It is just a normal day for us here at Welco Fabrics.
