Volga Restaurant

Volga Restaurant is located in the Sufibaugh area of Surat, right on Unapani Road and the Station Main Road. We are situated right opposite Hotel Orange International, so we get a lot of people who are just arriving in the city or waiting for their train. The station is so close that you can almost feel the vibrations of the trains sometimes. Our place has been around for quite a while, and the interior shows it. The tiles are a bit worn down from all the boots and bags dragging across them. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. The kitchen is always steaming, especially during the lunch and dinner rushes when the travelers are all looking for a quick meal. We don't do anything fancy with the food. It’s just honest, local cooking that gets the job done. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people shouting, so it’s never really quiet inside either. We don't mind the chaos though; it’s just part of being in this part of Surat. We keep our prices low because we know most of our customers are just looking for a simple plate of food before they head out on their next journey. It’s a busy, cramped, and loud little spot, but it’s ours and we’ve been running it this way for years without much change.
