Viksitkala Sarees

We are Viksitkala Sarees, down in the basement of J.J. A/C Textile Market on Ring Road. Being in a basement means we don't always see the sun much during the day, but it keeps us busy. Ring Road is always packed with people looking for textiles. Our shop is at J-14-15. It’s a bit of a maze in this market if you aren’t used to it. Spending most of our time folding and showing sarees to whoever walks in is the daily routine. It’s a lot of manual work. The market can get really hot and crowded, but since this is an A/C market, it's a bit better for us and the customers. We’ve been in this spot for a while. Opening up, checking the new arrivals, and dealing with the chaos of the textile market is how it goes. The goal isn't to be some high-end boutique. Sarees are what we sell to people who need them. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the traffic on Ring Road is a nightmare, but we just deal with it. Family-run is the best way to describe the feeling even if we have some helpers. Knowing the other shopkeepers around us makes it easier. This community of sellers has been here a long time. Steady business is all we really hope for. Nothing fancy about us, just a basement shop with a lot of fabric and some friendly faces.
