Venice Sarees

Our shop is on the ground floor of the Surat Textile Market, specifically units Z - 1187-1188. Being right on Ring Road means it’s always loud and there are people everywhere, but that is just the way the textile market is. We deal with sarees all day long. Some days are packed with customers and other days we are just sitting here folding fabric and organizing the shelves. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a tight-knit community even if it looks chaotic from the outside. We don't have any big slogans or fancy promises. We just sell sarees. If a customer likes what they see, they buy it. We try to keep a decent variety so there is something for everyone who walks in. The light in the market isn't always the best, so we spend a lot of time moving things around to see the colors better. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bundles and standing on our feet for hours. By the time we close up and head home, we’re usually pretty tired. But it is good work. We are part of the daily grind here in Surat and we don't plan on changing much. We just keep showing up and doing what we know how to do.
